Only way this trade is good is IF Quick starts playing like he did at the start of the season, continues to play like that hopefully into the playoffs with no rest and doesn’t get hurt. Kuemper has been a solid security blanket for the Kings this season and now they don’t have that. Bad trade.

Let's not get it twisted.... Kuemper was good because of the typical LA Kings D and GA. We shall see is Kuemper is good in AZ. Now Wedgewood should* do better as well with the LA Kings in front of him. Tobias Rieder was a steal, and hopefully will add some scoring depth and speed. Now the Kings have to many extra D's and forwards to make maybe* another deadline move. Do not under estimate Rob Blake.

I agree with you. Kuemper has been the better goalie this year. I don't see this as a good trade for the Kings

February 27 2017 the Los Angeles Kings traded Peter Budaj when he was helping the Kings stay in the playoff hunt and we all know how bad that season went.

So they decided to repeat history and trade Kuemper who is having a solid year with the Kings? Let’s hope history doesn’t repeat itself this year.

Interesting trade if rieder can get back to the level he played with the Landshut Cannibals it will be a great trade for the kings.

On Scott Wedgewood we will to see what they say on the hrudey report before I can give an opinion on that one.
